Payment Types
We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover, in addition to PayPal, personal checks and money orders.
Shipping
At The Local Needle we use the United States Postal Service as our carrier and do our best to charge you only what it costs us to ship your order.
Orders are shipped same day whenever possible. If your payment was made by money order, we ship upon receipt of the money order. If your payment was made by personal check, we ship as soon as your check has cleared.
Shipping to U.S. locations
Shipping is based on package size (envelope, large envelope or package) and on the total weight of your order in addition to your location.
Countries outside the U.S. (International Shipping)
Shipping is based on the total weight of your order and your location. Priority Mail shipping rates are used in calculating postage. If your package size permits us to ship at a lower rate and keep a similar delivery schedule, then we will do so and and credit you the difference.
We currently ship to the following countries:
Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Norway.
If your country is not listed, please contact us prior to placing an order.
Sales Tax and Import Fees
Sales Tax amounts calculated on orders are only for those required by the State of Florida and the United States.
The Local Needle, Inc. is not responsible for any taxes and/or fees incurred beyond what is required by the State of Florida and the United States.
Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase, but understand that pictures are not always accurate.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us by email or telephone, 904-259-KNIT (5648).
We accept returns for refunds on any yarn purchased if the goods are returned within 30 days of purchase and are unused in their original packaging. Yarns that have been wound are not in their original condition.
Credit is given upon receipt and does not include shipping charges.
Patterns, magazines, needles and notions are not returnable.
